Chessapeak Checkers is a 2 , 3 or 4 Player Checkers game that uses the same Famous "Design Registered" 4 player chess game board developed for Chessapeak Challenge® Classic. Standard Checker and Draught Rules apply. In a 4 Player game, once your piece reaches or goes past the squares with the double lines it changes direction 90 degrees to the left (on the left half of the board) and 90 degrees to the right on the other half ... away from the double lines. Each piece has an arrow to indicate forward direction. In a 4 Player game your pieces get promoted to kings once they reach the back row of the Players on your left & right. Play Checkers with 1, 2 or 3 friends ... partnership or individual play!
