Partners:
In the start (figure 1) each player is provided six types of Chess pieces. If the mode of play is "Partners" then one pair will have "dark" Chess pieces the other the "light"  pieces.
Note: All
Queens start on light squares.

In addition, each partnership will set up their Chess pieces across from each other and it will be their joint effort to "checkmate" the King to their left and the King to their right. The Partnership that accomplishes this first, eliminating both Kings or stalemating one King and checkmating the other wins the game. Other outcomes that are possible can be Resignation (mutually agreed upon by members of a pair), Draw or Stalemate.
